Educational Programs

Each spring, local third grade students and teachers come to the restored Williams Barn (circa 1840). There, costumed members of the Groton Woman’s Club recreate a typical day in the life of a child living in colonial days. Students are treated to a hands-on experience that includes making butter, spinning wool, quilting,  singing songs, playing period games, and watching timber framers, coopers and blacksmiths demonstrate their crafts.
